South Kalimantan Mount Besar Adventure

Meet at airport and directly transfer to hotel. Afternoon canal tour, see the way of the locals live on river bank.

Day 02: Banjarmasin – Kiyo – Meratus Mountain /CAMP I (B,L,D)

Drive t to Kiyo, village on the foot of Meratus mountain. Next, trekking in Meratus mountain crossing hills, forest, traditional farmland, etc. Lunch will be provided en route, dinner and overnight at bivouac/tent (camp I).

Day 03:  Camp 1 – Datar Alai – Jumantir / Camp II (B,L,D)

Trekking to Tiranggang mount for about three hours, then take a rest. Next, trekking to Sungai Karuh waterfall, then continue our trip by hiking to Jumantir, the foot of mount Besar . Lunch will be provided en route, dinner and overnight at bivouac/tent ( camp II ).

Day 04: Jumantir – Mount Besar Peak / Camp III (B,L,D)

Trekking through primary tropical rainforest to the peak of mount Besar , the roof of South Borneo ( camp III ), Lunch will be provided en route, dinner and overnight at bivouac/tent. ( camp III ).

Day 05: Mount Besar – Sungai Karuh / Camp IV (B,L,D)

Trekking down to Sungai Karuh waterfall and exploring wild orchids en route. Lunch will be provided en route, dinner and overnight at bivouac/tent at riverside (camp IV ).

Day 06: Sungai Karuh – Muhara Maliau / Camp V (B,L,D)

Four hours trekking to Muhara Maliau, crossing beautiful valley and tropical rainforest, Lunch will be provided en route, dinner and overnight at bivouac/tent ( camp V).

Day 07: Muhara Maliau – Tembatang – Kadayang (B,L,D)

Trekking to Tembatang river crossing tropical rainforest, hill, rivers. Next proceed to Kadayang village through primary rainforest and beautiful valley, Lunch will be provided en route, dinner and overnight at local house/bivouac.

Day 08: Kadayang – Loksado (B,L,D)

Downhill to Loksado about three hours, then, transfer to the lodge for relaxing and overnight.

Day 09: Bamboo Rafting – Water Buffalo – Banjarmasin / Swiss Belhotel Borneo Banjarmasin/ Deluxe Room (B,L,D)

Exploring villages at river bank in an adventure trip of bamboo rafting 3 hrs crossing beautiful panorama of tropical rainforest along the riverside, Drive another 2 hrs to Nagara Village for water buffalo in the middle of the lake, Driving 5 hrs to Banjarmasin.

Day 10: Floating Market – Airport for Departure (B)

Early morning at 05.00 visit floating market of Lokbaintan, back to hotel, free program till time to transfer to the airport
