West Kalimantan Exploration

Upon arrival in Pontianak, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel for check-in—free at your leisure.

Day 02: Pontianak City Tour (B)

Breakfast at the hotel, followed by a city tour visiting the Maha Vihara Buddha Maitreya, the Pontianak Museum, the Grand Mosque of Mujahidin, Rumah Radakng (the largest longhouse in Indonesia), the Malay Traditional House, St. Yusuf Catholic Church, and Kapuas Square Park (Optional: cruise along the Kapuas River at your own expense). Return to the hotel, and then free at your leisure.

Day 03: Pontianak Exploration with Equator Monument(B,L)

Today after breakfast we will explore the other side of Pontianak city. Visit the traditional market of Falmboyan wherein you can see the mixed society of Pontianak people. Stop at the Kadriyah Palace, wherein you will come to know about the Pontianak Kingdom of the past: (1771 - 1945). Explore the famous Equator Monument. At this point, at 11:45 between 21st-23rd March and September, the sun goes right up to the Equator line, therefore the shadow of any right upstanding objects is invisible and savor lunch at a local restaurant with aloe vera jelly drink -  a traditional drink. After lunch visit the State Museum of West Kalimantan and do river boating to Pulau Panjang (Long Island) and enjoy Bird watching around Long Island. Marvel at the sunset views at Kapuas River.

Day 04: Pontianak – 3- 4 Hours Drive to Singkawang /Hotel Horison Ultima Singkawang 4*/ Villa Executive Double (B)

Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Then, proceed to Singkawang City (approximately 3-4 hours). On the way, you will visit the symbol of Pontianak, the Equator Monument. Upon arrival in Singkawang, continue with a Singkawang city tour visiting the Tua Pek Kong Temple (the oldest in Singkawang), the Singkawang Grand Mosque, the Singkawang Traditional Area, the TJHIA Clan Cultural Heritage, and visit one of the beaches in Singkawang: Check in at the hotel and free program for you.

Day 05: Singkawang – Early Transfer with 3 – 4 Hours Drive to Pontianak Airport (B)

Early breakfast at the hotel and check out. You will travel back to Pontianak. Upon arrival in Pontianak, you will be invited to visit the PSP Souvenir Center to shop for souvenirs and Pontianak specialties then direct to Pontianak Airport for your afternoon flight to Jakarta. END OF THE TRIP.
