West Kalimantan Kapuas River Adventure

Upon arrival at Pontianak airport (morning flight) short meeting service, before we take the car for a five hours drive through hills and forest plantations to Sintang, Lunch en route at local restaurant. Overnight at Hotel, Dinner at local Restaurant .

Day 02: Sintang – Kapuas River Cruises – Sentarum Laku – Lanjak (B,L,D)

Early breakfast at hotel, transfer to the harbour Semitau, to board the boat and cruise upstream Kapuas River to Danau Sentarum passing forest and villages. We cross Danau Sentarum lake to Lanjak, which give us a beautiful view of the nature and will spot of water birds. Lunch en route, dinner and overnight at Jungle Camp or Local house

Day 03: Sentarum Lake – Lanjak (B,L,D)

Simple breakfast at Lanjak, then we start a loop trekking through the Jungle of Kalimantan over Lanjak Hill to Sedik River which has a beauty waterfall, during the trek we might can spot lot’s of wildlife as Orangutans, proboscis Monkeys and other animals, late afternoon we trek return to Lanjak for overnight at Jungle Camp or Local house, dinner provided

Day 04: Lanjak – Putussibau – Drive to Pontianak /Mercure Pontianak (B)

Early breakfast by boat upstream Kapuas river to Putussibau, by car transfer to Pontianak city. Check in at your hotel for overnight.

Day 05: Pontianak Exploration with Equator Monument(B,L)

Today after breakfast we will explore the other side of Pontianak city. Visit the traditional market of Falmboyan wherein you can see the mixed society of Pontianak people. Stop at the Kadriyah Palace, wherein you will come to know about the Pontianak Kingdom of the past: (1771 - 1945). Explore the famous Equator Monument. At this point, at 11:45 between 21st-23rd March and September, the sun goes right up to the Equator line, therefore the shadow of any right upstanding objects is invisible and savor lunch at a local restaurant with aloe vera jelly drink -  a traditional drink. After lunch visit the State Museum of West Kalimantan and do river boating to Pulau Panjang (Long Island) and enjoy Bird watching around Long Island. Marvel at the sunset views at Kapuas River.

Day 06: Pontianak – Transfer to Airport for Flight to Next Destination (B)

Breakfast at hotel and transfer to Pontianak Airport for your flight to next destination.

By motor canoe cruise from Sintang to Danau Sentarum to Lanjak

Visit Sungai Sedik by canoe from Landak Putussibau harbour

Transfer by car to Putussibau airport

Flight Putussibau to Pontianak
